Urodynamics

Overactive bladder symptoms or loss of urine control affect many women. We are offering in-office urodynamic testing to determine the cause and best treatment for these symptoms in our patients.

Our state-of-the-art urodynamics equipment uses a computer monitored micro-catheter to measure five areas of urinary function. This testing takes about 20 minutes to complete and is not painful. Treatment often may involve only simple bladder retraining or dietary changes. Occasionally, medications may be indicated.

The surgical treatment of bladder control problems has changed greatly in the past several years. The future holds great promise for more minimally-invasive options for treatment.
